Maths Centre learner support materials are designed to meet the Outcomes
Based Education requirements. All materials are colourful, durable, designed
for Grades R - 12, and can be bought as kits or as individual components.
Maths Centre learner support materials are designed to make learning come
alive in Mathematics. So many of primary as well as high schools do not
have sufficient resource materials to engage in Mathematics learning as
an interesting and fun experience relevant to daily life as well as applicable
in business. Developing thinking skills is the key to enhancement of learning
in Mathematics. The ultimate aim is to increase the number of learners taking
mathematics at FET level and those achieving a Higher Grade in maths. Grade
1 materials are translated into African languages.
Maths Centre teacher support materials are produced with an intense focus
on making mathematics content accessible, engaging teachers and learners
with the concepts as tools to be used. Our ultimate aim is to increase the
number of properly qualified Mathematics Teachers in line with Norms and
Standards in Education. All manuals are written in accordance with NQF guidelines
and are prepared for submission to the relevant accreditation bodies.
