2008 Technology Olympiad Challenge
Design, build, test and demonstrate a self propelled earthmoving machine that transports river sand in increments of 340 ml cold drink can sized “bucket loads” between two points spaced 3 meters apart.

Rewards and Prizes
- Learners experience the sense of achievement, coupled with fun, excitement and learning on successful completion of the project.
- Awards at National level includes an overseas trip to visit engineering companies and an engineering bursary.
The 2007 Technology Olympiad
In 2007 the challenge was to design make, evaluate, and demonstrate a manually powered Tower Crane to certain specifications. Six Maths Centre learners proceeded to the National Olympiad. |
