| ABSA Number Partners Project launch |
| Ten schools in the Vryburg and Greater Taung districts (Bophirima) have been selected by the Department of Education to be part of this three year project with the aim to improve Mathematics at foundation and intermediate phase levels. The schools are: Colinda Primary, Floradene Primary, Thuto Lesedi, Mokgosie Primary, Kismet Combined, Baitsitse Primary, Lokgabeng Primary, Lekwene Primary. Seile Primary, and Matsheng Primary. Each school will receive mathematics learning and teaching support materials and teachers will be trained on the use of these resources. Mr Rajny Lala, a well known teacher in the Vryburg teaching community has been appointed as the full time Maths Centre field trainer for the project. |
