| RBM Teacher Development Project Launch |
Richards Bay Minerals (RBM) partnered with Maths Centre in the RBM Teacher Development Project, because of historical trust. This project is a Senior Phase Teacher Development initiative which aims at improving numeracy skills as set out by RBM and the needs of the community.
South Africa wants to become a leading country in the field of technology, but this will not be possible if pupils continue to do so badly with the subject of Mathematics. Most professional jobs need people who have mathematics. Only when this dream is realised, we will have built a truly winning nation - intellectually, economically and socially. |
