| Partners in Performance lunch 2008 |
27 October 2008 – Maths Centre held its annual Partners in Performance lunch. This event is always one of the highlights on Maths Centre’s social calendar and this year was no exception. The event was graced by the presence of the honorable minister of education, Naledi Pandor, who came to visit the centre and deliver the keynote speech.
“The role of the Maths Centre in facilitating activities for teachers and learners to develop their skills in mathematics by equipping them with materials and programmes is a very important part of our endeavour to increase success in these subjects.” said the minister.
