 In July 2010, Maths Centre and Sci-Bono came into an agreement of organizing and rendering a service of training 35 teachers extracted / nominated from at least 20 different schools situated in Soweto and Eldorado Park.
In the agreement, the Maths Centre had to appoint diligently experienced trainers to run the 15-day workshop for teachers on content and pedagogical practices.
The group of the educators involved was divided into four smaller groups according to phases as outlined in the National Curriculum Statement. That resulted with the Further Education and Training (FET) Mathematics group, the FET Physical Science group, the Senior Phase Mathematics and Senior Phase Natural Science groups.
