 The Anglo American primary school project was launched on 18 May 2010. The principals of the project were invited to a meeting led by the Maths Centre’s National Executive Director, Sharanjeet Shan at Deo Gloria Primary.
All principals were enthusiastic and optimistic about the project. Mr. Molapisi who is the Acting Circuit Manager in Thabazimbi encouraged the principals to take advantage of the project and also to ensure that the idea of creating Numeracy HUB schools is taken forward.
Mr. Maswanganyi who is the principal at Sekgweng Primary mentioned that extra effort by the school is the recipe to the success of this particular project. He was seconded by most of his colleagues.
All project preparations are in place and the project will be rolled out in schools at the beginning of the third term.
