Maths Centre (KwaZulu Natal) participated in the Ethekwini Municipality Exhibition; referred to as the Durban Business Fair. The purpose of the Fair was to afford businesses, NGO's and PBO's an opportunity to market themselves to the wider community.

This year the fair was held at the Coast of Dreams - Durban Exhibition Hall. The Fair allowed the Maths Centre an opportunity to showcase the work being done in the Province in celebration of the Maths Centre's 25 years. Displays were set up using items from the Intermediate and Foundation Phase kits. The Nomzamo Interactive Maths Games software was set up on one desktop and many attendees interacted with the software. Parents watched with awe as their children interacted with the software. Many expressed an interest to purchase the products on display.

A maths competition was held whereby participants had to correctly complete a Maths question. The winner was a grade 7 learner from Berea Primary School. The prize was a Maths Centre water bottle, a cup and a Maths Centre pen.
